Lena Larecy, a dynamic 18-year-old hailing from Roseburg, Oregon, is a beacon of positivity and achievement. Her dedication to community service, academic excellence, and her vibrant presence as Miss Douglas County’s Teen define her as a remarkable young leader.
Education and Career:
Currently a senior at Roseburg High School, Lena aspires to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, with dreams of becoming a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse. Her passion for healthcare and nurturing shines through in her dedication as a Youth Gymnastics Coach at Umpqua Valley Gymnastics.
Community Service Initiative (CSI):
Lena’s heart beats for "Together We Rise," a program aimed at empowering teens in foster care to find their path to success. Through this initiative, she embodies the spirit of compassion and support, uplifting those who need it most.

Lena's life is punctuated by intriguing experiences, from winning a Marine Corps pushup contest in a dress and heels, to encountering a ball python up close. Her ambidextrous abilities and fond memories with bullfrogs highlight her unique versatility. With a roster of unconventional pets including a ferret, rats, and a turtle, Lena's love for animals knows no bounds. Dining in the Beauty and the Beast Castle adds a touch of enchantment to her vibrant life.
Personal Health Initiatives: Lena’s dedication to physical health is not just a personal endeavor, but a shared mission. As a gymnastics coach, she imparts the importance of healthy habits to children aged 3-12, nurturing their physical well-being and instilling lifelong lessons. Lena’s dreams are as diverse as they are exciting. In the next five years, she looks forward to strolling through the lavender fields of Bridestowe Lavender Estate, taking a plunge into the vibrant world of sharks in Hawaii, and embarking on her journey towards becoming a registered N.I.C.U. nurse.
